Run down… doesn’t even meet the mark. The best bit, the bar! Not quite sure what’s going on here. A very untidy site, pool that hasn’t seen action in years, and just crap everywhere. This looks like a campsite that was amazing when it opened, then things ‘broke’. Don’t expect a smile from the bloke in reception. For an overnighter it works, but fook knows why anyone would stay here for more than one night. If you have another option, bypass this place.

We stayed one night in May en route to the Alsace. A delightful lady welcomed us (her husband was less sociable). There was one other couple there only and the site didn\'t look rready for the season. Many facilities were cordoned off, even the nearest water supply meaning we had to walk further. Probably lovely in the summer, but run down and miserable on a wet May night. We ate in the restaurant which had a simple menu at an affordable price. We thought the cost of the pitch was high for what we had.
