All been said before fantastic and friendly site can't wait to return. If you are in a motorhome without transport stock up first as no shops close by.But restaurant good and very reasonably priced.

Lovely site in the Tuscan hills. Fabulous views. Excellent showers and toilets, (although showers do not drain very well). Very helpful owners. Restaurant on site

By far the best campsite in our 7 week trip, we stayed there twice we loved it so much. Family run, beautifully maintained in the most stunning location,with fabulous panoramic views from a specially constructed viewing platform, it was a peaceful haven to enjoy nature at its best - no passing trains or motorway hum in the background. Dog friendly & a good stopover for cyclists & walkers or for longer as we did. We walked the local Roman Road through woodlands & there are popular hiking trails nearby. It had one of the best stocked on-site shops with essential & emergency supplies, a coffee/bar & pizzeria restaurant, popular with residents & locals alike. For children there was a great nature trail & small but beautiful pool area. The hotel like facilities were plentiful & immaculate. Best of all was the genuine, warm welcome we received on arrival that made us feel like part of the family! Thank you Alessandra & Nonna!

We loved La Futa! After a friendly English welcome on arrival we were shown a choice of pitches. The facilities are hotel standard & immaculate. The views are stunning & the owners have a designated wildlife walk leading to a panoramic viewing point onsite. Sunset is amazing. There is a German WW2 Cemetary within 15 minutes walk & further a walk through woods to the Roman Military road. Ideal for dog walking! We ate takeaway pizza & in the restaurant with a salad, simple but excellent. The small onsite shop is one of the best equipped we’ve seen on our travels. There’s a small pool & children’s pool which was open when we were there. If you’re looking for peace & tranquility in stunning surroundings then like us this is the place for you. It’s by far the best we’ve stayed at in Italy. We loved it so much we’re returning on our homeward leg.

This is a brilliant spot, nestled in the Futa Gap, the site is set over several, large, terraces, all with views over the spectacular Tuscan hills. A warm welcome from the owner, the site has everything you’d need for both a short or long stay - just bring sufficient provisions. If you fancy a night off/out the site has a bar and restaurant. The ablutions are possibly the best I’ve ever seen, there’s also some large washing machine/dryers. There’s walking from the site and if you’ve got the wherewithal it’s a good location if you want to visit Florence and Bologna. It’s a spot that you would want to come back to.

Quite easy to find if you follow the campsite instructions, the restaurant was very nice and reasonably prices, it is high up, the views are fantastic, the site is terraced with views from most pitches, no children so cant comment, and the pool was closed. Staff very friendly and helpful

lovely family owners. very friendly and welcoming. Food looked good but we didn’t use. lovely large pitches and great views. would recommend
