Although it’s on the river, most pitches on this site have no river view. The pitches are grassy and mostly a good size, but many were muddy in the rain. The electric hook ups are old fashioned European style so you need a converter - luckily we had one. The first pitch we chose had a broken electric point, so we had to move. There’s a very noisy busy main road alongside the site, so it’s very noisy indeed. The toilets have no paper, there’s no soap at the sinks and no means to dry your hands.

Nice little campsite. Clean facilities although they could do with more water points. Good sized grassy pitches. Friendly staff.
On the banks of the river and just five minutes walk into the pretty little town.

Great stop over site on the way south. Decent sized pitches, toilet block clean and tidy, shop a bit sparse, essentials there but a bit pricey. Stopped on the way home too and would come back.

Super Übernachtungsplatz auf dem Weg nach Süden, schnell erreichbar nah an der Autobahn. Günstig tanken auf dem Weg zur Autobahn zurück ohne Umweg.Platz und Personal klasse.

Waren hier auf der Durchreise. Kamen gegen 19:00 Uhr an. Da war die Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt. Über eine Telefonnummer konnte man aber eine Dame erreichen. Die kam und wir konnten uns mit trotz ACSI (23,00) dann einfach einen Platz aussuchen. Es war aber auch nicht viel los. Die Sanitäranlagen sind einfach. Leider wie in Frankreich immer noch üblich: ohne Toilettenpapier aber schon mal wenigstens mit Klobrille. Plätze haben für 3,5 T Womos eine ausreichende Größe. Platz liegt sehr schön am Fluss mit tollen Radwegen. Im Juli und August ist wohl auch noch ein Schwimmbad vorhanden und offen. Brötchen muss man am Tag zuvor in der Rezeption bestellen, dazu hatten wir leider keine Möglichkeit.
Hier kann man Mobile Homes auf Stelzen mieten. Eine sehr interessante Alternative zu den üblichen Mobile Homes.

Stayed one night second week in May. Plenty of availability. This site has several very large 2 storey chalets with balconies that can obviously accommodate a sizeable group. We had to move because of a gang sitting out on a balcony drinking heavily and making an unacceptable noise. That’s the problem with these glamping units, they attract people who are not campers and care little for others on the site. If you pitch close to the entrance you can avoid the worst of this but if you like your peace and quiet give this site a miss.
