Used this site as a one night stopover on our travels. The showers were lovely and warm. The toilets are unisex.
The dish wash area full of cobwebs as no door to enter.
Lovely forest at the back to walk dogs.
majority of pitches are on the grass which made it quite muddy so may need to take this in to account before you stay
Overall it was ok but we were glad it was only one night.

Quiet, peaceful campsite in the middle of the countryside. A wide variety of huge pitches (not all level), clean facilities and very friendly hard working owners.
We didn't try the bar/restaurant, but the bread (order in the evening) was very good, and the local wine sold in reception was excellent.
Swimming pool very small and not the cleanest but a good temperature. No reliable phone signal. Super-U and Aldi in nearby St Ciers.
We extended our stay and had trips out to Blaye, Talmont-sur-Gironde and the coast.
We would stay again if in the area.

A Quiet stopover in beautiful surroundings. The site is well organised and the facilities are clean and well maintained.

This site is in the country, the weather had been bad before our arrival so several pitches were cordoned off.
The folks who run the site are delightful and were really helpful.
We used the site as a stopover on our way back to Calais and will use it again in the future.

Strongly recommend this site. Fab location for the Gironde and local vineyards. We didn\'t eat as such rating is based on the drink and ambienceof the bar. Morning baguettes etc were super,order the night before. The field with views was lovely and had less bity things. Just take repellant. I have to make a big shout out for the owners. They were both super friendly and helpful making.you feel extremly welcome. We would return.

Second visit here. Lovely site with great staff just a pity about the awful flies. Possibly due to animals around.

A really gem of a campsite in such an untapped part of France. Lovely cycle rides, from campsite you can cycle to the Grande Estuary of the Gironde or inland to the lovely town of Jonzac plus you are surrounded by vine fields and sunflowers! The site is clean and welcoming. Some lovely touches like a hairdryer in the Ladies, a ‘share’ shelf for people who has stuff they don’t require to donate too even a stale bread box for their chickens! The owners are proud and rightfully so, of their ‘green’ credentials. very busy people who provide an excellent a la carte menu most evenings! The site is in a woodland setting with tiered pitches. If you arrive when reception is closed, a notice tells you to pick a pitch and when the reception is open, let them know! All in all a great two night stay!

Its beautiful location and calm atmosphere is simply fabulous.The hosts are terrific and the service is beyond reproach

A genuine campsite making the most of excellent natural surroundings. Very welcoming proprietors who rightly take pride in what they are achieving. Cosy and attractive bar/terrace and restaurant - definitely one to return to!
